Your core team consist of myself, Cortney Bax, PA-C and Amber Rider, RN, OCN. Cortney is originally from Greenfield, Iowa and completed her Physician Assistant training at Duke University in North Carolina. Amber is also a native Iowan who completed her RN degree at Mercy College of Health Sciences. Amber has worked in oncology since 2007. Our goal is to provide you with excellent healthcare in a personal and caring manner. We are able to provide this care with the help of a larger group including Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates (pharmacy staff, oncology nurses, laboratory technicians, schedulers and more), as well as hospital staff (Pharmacists, oncology nurses, dietitians and more). My team provides care for patients with cancer using treatments such as immunotherapy, hormone therapy and chemotherapy. We also coordinate care between other specialists to ensure the best outcomes.
Cortney, Amber and I also take care of individuals with blood cancers, bone marrow disorders and benign blood disorders.
